Bhima Jewellers was founded in the year 1925 in Alleppey, Kerala,
a town well known for its picturesque backwaters. The founder, Shri.
K.Bhima Bhattar seeing the growth of the prosperous town, felt the
need for a trusted jeweller in the area. He opened shop in the prominent
Mullakkal area and soon started attracting customers from all over
the state.
Today the name Bhima is associated with trust combined with quality
and purity. Gradually, Bhima group spread across the state of Kerala
before venturing outside to Chennai and Bangalore. The group has
since opened its outlets in Europe, the US and West Asia.
Assisted by his sons, the name and fame of Bhima spread all over
the region necessitating the opening the Bhima retail outlets at
:
* Cochin in the year 1978 and 1996
* Thiruvananthapuram in 1991
* Bangalore, opened in October 1999
* Kollam in July 2000
* Calicut in August 2001
* Kottayam in July 2002
Today the name Bhima is associated with trust combined with quality
and purity. Gradually, assisted by his 5 sons, the name 'Bhima'
spread all over the region necessitating the opening of a second
shop in Cochin in the year 1978.
The third shop was opened in Trivandrum in 1991 and the fourth
again in Cochin in 1996. Spanning three generations, Bhima has given
new meaning to the word 'Pure Gold'. The attention given to quality
and finesse in designs has carved a niche for Bhima making it a
household name in Kerala.
The third shop was opened in Trivandrum in 1991 and in 1996 Cochin
showroom was shifted a new showroom with an area of 7500 Sq ft spanned
over 5 floors. Fourths howromm was opened at Bangalore, Karnatiaka
in 1999. The fifith Shown opened at Kollam in 2000, sixth at Kozikode
in 2001, seventh at Kottayam in 2002. Very soon Bhima is going to
add another jewel in their crown, the new showroom coming up at
Nagercoil, Tamil nadu. A 4000 Sq ft Showroom with all ultra modern
facilities and a stste of the art jewellery collection. This would
be the entrance of Bhima to the state of Tamil Nadu.

All this activity in the jewellery market led us to start exporting
jewellery to the various parts of the world. Currently jewellery
is being exported to the USA, Europe and the Middle East. With close
monitoring of the changing trends in the jewellery market, Bhima
has produced a wide variety of modern and trendy designs, which
are sourced from around the country.
The Cochin showroom is located at the heart of Cochin's business
district in M.G.Road. This is considered to be one of the largest
in India and it houses one of the largest collections of Bridal
jewellery, Antique jewellery, Diamond jewellery, Gents jewellery,
Children's jewellery, Traditional Kerala jewellery and Gemstone
jewellery among many other unique collections.
